Hello Trans,
I'm relatively new to the Jeep world. I have an 05 Wrangler with 42k. I'm sure it's in need of a tune-up and I think a tire rotation... at higher speeds the steering wheel shakes. I sadly have not learned enough yet to do my own tune-up but was wondering if this and the tire rotation is something you do and what the costs would be? You can respond in PM if you wish to do so.
Thank you so much.

Thank You Dino!!!
You really are one of the best!!
Most shops "repair" your vehicle and if you find something not Quite right they may or may not fix it.
Dino test rides the repaired vehicle himself and if somethings not right he WILL NOT release the vehicle till he makes it right!
He does not release and hope you don't notice the problem, all business people would do well to operate as he does.
I miss my jeep!

Hey Dino,
What are the odds of getting that tranny worked on in the Dodge I bought off you. I'm getting the injection pump rebuilt right now, after that I'll be going through the axles, but I'm wondering if the tranny is going to hold up to the "mods". Cranking up the pump some, adding some injectors and possibly swapping that exhaust housing on the turbo to get some more boost. Shoot me a PM or something. I'll try calling you sometime this next week, we need to catch up

It's been roughly almost around 2 years that I knew in the back of my head that I needed to get the T84 Trany on the Willys which is my 66 year old sweetheart looked at. The person I purchased the Willys from mentioned that the Trany was a rebuild with all new parts.
First of all I don't trust too many (now two) with my Willys sweetheart.

There was a PITA friend that kept after me to do it because of the way first gear was sounding. I'm glad he kept after me because I kept putting it off.
Well, I decided not to look back and took my sweetheart into Transtech. Good thing I did because the entire cluster was shot along with first gear. The bearing retainer which also holds the clutch release bearing was broken off from the flange spinning its own marry way. It was amazing how the girl was still running.

The T18 TC was also leaking a bit an needed replacements of a few parts.
Needles to say that TranyDoctor also put up with me while I was learning in the process and being his cleaning bitch on the project. I have to say that from what I saw, what he did and how my Willys sweetheart is running now, I have no regrets. I will not have to be under medication if Transtech has to ever work on my Willys in the future for whatever reason.
Added note: Transtech will be sending me a bill for allowing my anal ass in the shop as a learning and cleaning bitch on this project. The reason this exception was made was because there was no way in hell I was going to be away from my sweetheart while she was being looked after.

If you need any type of mechanical work done, this is definitely the place to go and not just for Transmission work.

My tranny is as good as new now--THANK YOU Dino!
He rebuilt a used AX15 and 231 transfer case, installed a T Woods Drive shaft and SYE--sent out my front drive shaft for balancing, replaced the master slave and throwout bearing, and warranteed the master clutch cylinder.
He also reinstalled my track bar that fell off over a year ago.
I have to say, WHAT a difference--this jeep is no longer for sale!
I will now replace the engine and have a jeep to brag about.
Again Thanks to the crew at TransTech!

I would just like to comment on transtech and Dino. I was told about Dino as a referral, my problem was busted transmission lines on my 97 tj. I came into transtech today to see if he could pinpoint the problem and repair the lines. Without hesitation he found the source of the leak and made the repairs himself, I was in and out of there in no time. Its great to be able to park my jeep on my pavers again now that the leak is fixed. Thank you dino for everything. Just to let you know you have a customer for life and I wont hesitate to refer anyone to your shop beacuse I know they will be treated fairly and the repair will get done right the first time.
Thank you very much

although didnt have any work performed, just used his job as a meeting place, i would hope to have him do some work for me in the future, just a tad far...

I'll like to thank Dino for a great service. Got a brand new clutch, new flywheel (Don't ask

) and a couple more things done and got the jeep back fast and with no overcharges. We still have honest shops around here that charge the right price for a quality servie and Transtech is one of them.
Thanks Dino!!!!

Well I was having a bit of electrical problems on the new truck from front to back. I can say that I might have eventually found it in approximately 15 hours but I decided to see what this TranyDoctor had to say so I went by the shop and he diagnosed it in about 10 minutes. Needless to say he save me some time as I knew exactly what I had to repair.
A fine thank you to this TranyDoctor guy.

Hey tranydoctor;
We need to meet soon so my jeep can get some tlc from you....
I just mentioned on a post that my back brakes and drums (complete rear brakes springs and things) need help.... the last owner of my jeep seems to have let them get really rusty and corroded.... is that something you can help me with... LrdJeffson said that my drums could be fixed by sand blasting them and then repainting them which is better than buying brand new ones if they're fixable.... and then all i need is a complete rear brake rebuild kit to change out all those nasty worn out pieces....
There are some other things i want to do to the jeep like lighting, bumpers and possibly a lift.....
mon-fri right?

Well another very satisfied customer here. I dropped of my tow rig (95 dodge 2500 CTD) for a tranny upgrade and rebuild. with the new stronger torque converter it feels like a new truck and it unleashed some extra ponies that were hiding with the factory junk. hats off to Dino and his crew.
