1977 CJ5 Ignition?

My 77 CJ5 with a 304 has an A1 Cardone Distributer.
This is a link to a picture of it. (it is several products from the top)

Does any one know anything about this distributer? Is it any good? Reliable? It runs ok, but I'm always looking for something that will make the Jeep better, and this looks like it may be a weak link. I have been unable to find out any information about this distributer. Any advice appreciated.

Same Dizzy cap U can get @ AZone etc. The caps stayed the same back from the military times in some cases. It's a take off of those caps etc.

P.S. Spend a little more & get the cap w/the copper terminals in it instead of the silver ones.

If you really want to upgrade it go ahead and buy an HEI, DUI has some good ones. I upgrade it mine on a AMC 360 and man what a diference, more power from the start. :biggrin1:
