Clewiston 8/25/07 Pics

I was alone in my Jeep so did not get too much of a chance to take pics.
Also just want to bing something up. Not sure if it is the right place but it has to do with the Clewiston ride.
Just my observation on this trip was that it was not as organized as the last one we did at Clewiston. I liked the idea of breaking up in smaller groups
At least the group I was in did not wait for everyone (I am not referring in the trail themselves). In the Trail Tim , Jim and anyone else who helped out were great helping us small Jeepers out of the jam .
The issue I saw was on the way to the lake Jeeps with mechanical issues were left behind. I actually went back and forth from the lake to the trail entrance to show the way to the Jeeps being towed. By the time I got back to the lake the final time everyone was leaving in a hurry to get to Sonny's. We ended up staying behind attempting to fix a broken Clutch hydrolic hose on Adrian's Jeep (Red TJ with Roof Rack). Thanks Dave (LordJeffson) for the Brake fluid and for hanging arround a bit and checking up on us later.
I think along with the rules of no drinking no littering and soon we should make sure all Jeep are accounted for in the group.
Anyways even though it was really flooded out there and most of us got stuck I had a really great time!!!
I will be posing up the video I took once I get it in youtube.
3 guys working on getting the clutch hose leak patched up with Ducttape
After we left Adrian's Jeep at the Walmart parking lot we headed to McDonalds.

Yes that is garbage (all though I hear some leaders accounted for their group), everyone should wait for each other (or @ least check in to see if U need them etc). That needs to be addresed as I have been in that position. Maybe numbers should be handed out on a big event/a lot of Jeeps etc. & turned back in.

A Jeep is very easy to drive w/out a clutch (I've done it towing a camper), kind of like driving a Semi where U don't need a clutch except to start/stop.

I just briefly looked at my pics, still have to do some conversion and put them in my personal album. Pics already posted look really nice.
Got to do the church and family thing today but I will do my best with time allowed.
Pics came out really nice, there are some nice ones of a Square Headlight Jeep (shame) ... yellow in color... who could that be. For sure he will have at least 5 go arounds at Jeep of the Month.
Btw, these pics will be reduced for posting but if anyone wants to make an enlargement out of these I will have the raw digital high resolution neg (very large in size) for around a month before I delete them.

So you want me to take the fun out of the video. It is mostly of you guys under Adrian's Jeep with the addition of some hill climbing.
By the way most ugly words came from you

oh don't i know it... that's why i want you to be careful with it - I have a reputation to uphold! Oh, wait...
and the only thing that would have helped you yesterday is a locker. I know my limited slip rear saved my bacon more than once yesterday...
