Here is my latest Master Piece (to some anyway). It's being displayed at the FIU north Campus.
Maybe I should bring the 18x24 frame and give 8x10 copies to the judges as a bribe so our club can win the trophy this year. :obsessed:

I think all you guys from the northern part of Florida should drive down and join us for this event. Your Jeeps will be part of the City of Plantation 4th of July Parade. :drive: Don't ask on what day it will be held. :lol1:

Jim, beautiful picture, what do you think it would cost to have something made up that could be put on our jeep club t-shirts or attached to our jeeps? John

John,

Thanks, I'm glad you like it. With regards to the t-shirts I think it would be an excellent idea, :obsessed: however I have no idea where to go or how do it. :drive: I'm not sure how expensive it would be with all the colors.

You would also have to get permission from the photographer to use it.

PS, I'll be there!

As long as you have a Jeep to ride in, you can enter the parade.

You sure are making this hard for someone to participate.I am feeling a little unwelcomed at this point.

Do I show up with my Jeep and HOPE I find the right person to talk to, or just start driving in the parade?

Blevisay,

When you get there you will see a bunch of Jeeps along with other vehicles that will be in the parade. Be there early as we pass out all the decorations for you to put on your Jeep. From there we will receive instructions from the event coordinator. Please don't feel un welcomed, some of us answer a lot of emails and sometimes we forget the details. We don't really know what position will be on the line until we are told.

When you show up, please introduce yourself to us, I'll be there with my family and a red TJ that is named El Niņo. If you have any other questions please let me know. :alien:

Everyone who has a Jeep, stock, tall, small, pretty, ugly, whatever... please come and join us. It's not that far of a drive. :amazed:

I apologize if I made it sound dificult to hook up w/ us. All you have to do is look for the Jeeps in the parking lot on Broward Blvd & State Road 7 (NE cornor) on July 4th.
Jim B has a red TJ & I have the blue CJ w/ the flag in the pics on this thread. My g/f & I are in one of the pics w/ our patriotic pants on. Please introduce yourself to me when you get there.

Checkin the dates... i sure hope i get my junk running for this... 25 years old on the underside... i am only 20 lol
Just need to weld up a crack on my radiator, than i can get back to shotgunning my cooling system for why its heating up! :amazed:
One question i have, what is the rate of travel? im running 2.73 or 3.07 ratio in my axles, and to tell you the truth i find myself having to clutch alot in MOVING traffic on a regular basis, with no throttle. even in 4-low im a little up there. how much stopping and going is this? if it is constant stop and go, and not enough going slow, i might not be able to participate, as i dont want to break down, or snap a manual clutch linkage in the parade LOL :alien:
still got a month though

QuadCam,

Most everyone is in 4 low as you will basically crawl the street for a few miles. It will also be stop and go, this is a large parade and get's bigger every year. :alien:

Make sure your radiator is cooling well, don't worry about your clutch and breaking down. Two years ago we pulled a CJ that broke down all the way down to the finish with a tow strap (spectators though it was kind of neat). :amazed: Just make sure you have hooks up front as no one will attach a strap to your bumper (it cuts it).

Blevisay,

From Hollywood to Broward & 441 is not that far. Leave a bit early and see if you can drive your Jeep. We will basically crawl the whole parade for more than a few miles. No need to go faster than 40mph (if that) around town.

If push comes to shove I suppose you can find a spot but you better get there early, if you get there last minute you will not be able to move around truck and trailer.
