On Feb 13 I ordered a tow bar from Bulletproof and they said it would be sent out and I would have it in a week. Well its been over a month and a half and I have not received it but have been charged for it and they will not return any phone calls or E mails or faxes I send them. :boiling: I have filed claims with my credit card company the BBB and FICC. :tdown:

I spent $1300 for one of their Tj bumper/swingout carriers. A few months ago I backed into a tree and bent the swingout to the point where it was unusable.

Called BProof.....turns out that their famous guarentee applies only to their BUMPERS!

One used BProof bumper for sale...cheap!

Sorry to hear about your swing out!!! That's nuts they just don't want to stand behind there product! I think it should be considered the bumper it is after all sold attached to the bumper!!

When I ordered my bumpers and rock rails it was well know to add a week or two to their delivery quotes. Sure enough my items came about a week and a half after they were supposed to be there.

But when Dawn ordered the tow bar that matches the front bumper they said they would ship it out that day!!! I was like well they probably lied and had to make it. Well I called them twice on the phone (long distance so it will be on the phone bill), and sent some emails. Gave them another week. After that past I told Dawn to go to her bank and file what ever she needs to do to get her money back.

Their site is still up. Not sure what their deal is.

I just heard Bullitproof is down for the count. Owner had like two or three heart attacks in a row and was still working trying to save his busuness. Also lost 2 key employees during this time.Don't know the outcome.
