My guess is that it is a MAHINDRA CJ3..........they not only built the normal
80 inch wheelbase model, but also had a 91 inch wheelbase.
2002 Jeep Liberty, lifted, 31" tires.
If GOD wanted us to own 2 wheel drive vehicles,
He would have paved the whole earth.

I saw a bunch of them in Thailand and other places in south-east Asia and
the quality of Mahindra's are TERRIBLE!
Not only do they have underpowered diesels, but I saw a few with Renault
gasoline engines, and 2wd.

I was not aware of this, good info. I do know that anything Renault is but I never heard or read anything on the Mahindra.

The Mahindra brothers got their start with jeeps in India after the war by assembling CKD jeeps. CKD stands for Complete Knock Down meaning that they were still in their shipping boxes and unassembled. When Kaiser-Willys and later Kaiser-Jeep improved the models, Mahindra & Mahindra purchased the rights to build a CJ-3B in India. They later improved on the model building what they called a CJ-4. "Improvements" continue to this day, making the -3B the longest produced jeep of all of thew variants. There's even a few seconds of footage of a long wheelbase -3B in the movie Sahara. Since the Toledo factory never built one, it must be an Egyptian or Indian built variant. Several companies held licenses to build them.
They also built a FC-170 truck based on Jeep patterns. Jeep had a short wheelbase FC-150 and a FC-170 with plans for a -160 and a -190 that they never saw the need to build for the American market. Mahindra built all the versions and developed them into a basis for a van, an ambulance, and a small bus.
The engines they use over there suck and they are not legal for import since they meet none of our crash-worthiness or pollution standards.

Good memory. Mitsu built a version for both civvy and military use. For a year or two, the Mitsubishi version even had the diamond logo right after the word "WILLYS" at the top of the grill (actually, it's officially called the radiator protector). Their military versions are easier to tell apart from the Willys civilian versions because they have chrome headlight rings. The M606 variant that Willys-Jeep and Kaiser-Jeep built for the forces of our allies, does not. Pay attention next time you see "Good Morning Vietnam". Forest Whitaker keeps trying to start a CJ-3B while Robin Williams' character Adrian Cronauer makes fun of him because the jeep is already running. There are some other clues on the jeep that give it away as an American civilian model.
Now imagine this: American boys are sent to South Viet-Nam to fight for that country's cause. The ARVN (Army of the Republic of Viet-Nam) forces that are their allies are using American built M606s. In non-tactical roles, the US army is using Mitsubishi built CJ-3Bs. Can you imagine looking at your dad's or uncle's pictures from his time "in country" and noticing the chrome headlight rings on the jeep he's riding in, while his "allies" have the American jeep? Americans in Asian jeeps and Asians in American jeeps!
When I say "allies", remember back to the scene in Full Metal Jacket when the Hotel Co 2/5 Marines are "negotiating" with the ARVN officer for the services of the prostitute during a lull in the fight for Huey City. "Cowboy" gets a dig in at the officer by offering to trade "some ARVN rifles. They've never been fired, and they've only been dropped once." Most of our boys weren't impressed with the loyalty or dedication of the men who were supposedly on our side.

That photo also shows the Mitsu diamond by itself without the word "WILLYS" as on earlier models.
