I try to check my tire pressure, about every other fuel fill up. And, today, for some reason, I decided to check the pressure in the SPARE TIRE..........it was all of 10 pounds.
So, when you check your tire pressure...........be sure to also check the spare.

If U fill your spare up to the proper poundage & ride in it for about three day's it will stay inflated & not loose pressure for a long time. Been there & done it. It reseals the tire to the rim etc. & makes the tire ply-able again.

I'll check the tire pressure on the next fill up.......and if it has gone down, I'll try your tip.

You mean if you have a spare
All my vehicles have spare tires. And, I do carry a small electric plug into the cigar lighter air pump, plus tire plugging kits.....just in case.
I checked the spares on both of them, and the one that went down to 10 pounds was checked again...........and the inner portion VALVE?) of the valve stem was broken, and replaced. The valve stem is metal, not rubber.......and it did not leak air.
Just trying to get prepared, just in case I get a flat tire.
