Nice photo !!!! Is these the same type of system that used to be controlled by a lever on the dash????( Military Jeep ) And some civilian models had from the early to mid 40"s ???
Does anyone put out a kit like this now a days???

Yes, there is a lever fromwhat I've learned.

Yes, I just bought one from Midwest Military for the conversion project. If you want one you will have to adapt it. You can use the main intake hose & go right into the yJ air box & seal it w/silicone & make sure there is a good rubber seal on the lid. As for the exhaust u will have to weld a plate like when a header bolts to the pipes & run all your vent lines up as high as U can get them. Water proofing the wireing etc. helps.

Check out Richard Grace's article from one of the MVPA publications. I have personally seen two of them at his shop in Palmetto, GA. He was buying a third and has been collecting the parts for years to build a complete one. I believe he is building the example by which all others will be judged.
