It's already up to $200 and 3 days left, look at the view number. You would be surprise what this thing will go for. If I had a reasonable way to get it here, this thing needs a complete overhaul though but by the time you get it done....

By any chance can you please check if this guy has a Bantam hiding in some corner that he might be willing to let go. The M100 and 416s are not correct for my 1942.

Rollbar,
The correct trailer for you would be the M100. This guy in Canada is selling M416s. Not to worry, the M100 is the same size and look, the only difference is that the M100 had round fenders. Later if you want, you can take the square ones out and replace them with round and your done. I would also re paint the trailer to your OD color.
The MBT (Willys made) or Bantam trailer is smaller in frame and with round fenders. Not that that my MB can't pull the bigger trailer, I just want to stay correct for my era. Unless I get a super deal on an MBT or Bantam trailer I'm going to save my money for the 37mm Anti tank gun.
Joe,
This guy in Canada is either giving you the bull or just happened to come up with a trailer deal he got from someone & does not know his butt from a hole in the ground if he does not know what an MBT or Bantam is. I know some one in Canada that imports them, I'll try and make the time to call him to see what kind of deal he can put together for you guys. He told me he had a restored Bantam on consignment from a customer at $1700, they are hard to find. The one that was all beat up on the first post went for $315+ shipping, by the time you buy the correct parts I would be looking at $1400 or so. I rather tow the gun, might be a while though.
If I have some time I'm going to do a write up on these military trailers so everyone can refer to.

Joe,
1. What are the dimentions of the trailer?
2. What is the weight of the trailer?
3. What is the shipping time frame from payment to delivery?
4. Where are you gonna have them shipped to?
5. Title come with it?
6. How much is shipping w/three people, facts?
7. How reputable is this guy, I don't feel like giving someone a grand etc.
Thanks,
RollBar

Here is a find that Greenlantern sent me. It's an M100 what your era should look like. Same size as the 416. This one is fully restored, has the round fenders and correct tail lights, etc. Look at the price, a bit too rich for my taste (bidding is not even over) especially after shipping.
These trailers the Sky is making a deal on are not bad, all you would have to do is round fender and tail lights or leave as is. No one would know the difference except the guys on JeepTalk. M100 on Ebay.
M100
M100
M416 Canadian Version
I'm a purist and would stay with the MBT or Bantam which is smaller in size. But it would be so out of reach for me in cost that I would rather have the 37mm.

Jim,
Here is the write-up for the trailers:
Quote
Very Very Very nice condition no rust holes or damage etc, Understand these are 1992 used like new & just very good condition high quality military. If you are already familiar with military equipement you will understand that they are high quality rugged equipment. What you see in the photos is exactly what you will recieve please look closely at the photos and see that they are Super Nice! Buyer will be provided with a bill of sale and all necessary paperwork to register your item in your state.
and the url: Trailers on Ebay
It is the same URL that GL gave me to get all this started.
I don't know all the answers yet but:
1. What are the dimentions of the trailer? inside is about 4x6 outside is no wider that the jeep
2. What is the weight of the trailer? I figure less than 500 lbs. If it's empty, you can move it by hand
3. What is the shipping time frame from payment to delivery? Mine is ready to go. She will ship it as soon as it is paid for
4. Where are you gonna have them shipped to? Unless 'someone in WPB who lives by a trucking company' buys one - my house.
5. Title come with it? Yes.
6. How much is shipping w/three people, facts? I am asking her that now.
7. How reputable is this guy, I don't feel like giving someone a grand etc. Read their Ebay feedback. They are an Ebay power seller and positive feedback is 99%.
