The cap comes off the regular air filter & when U add the hose you put it on top for h2o crossings, when not in a wet area they usually left the hose off like yours. John said (from Midwest Military) the cap stayed on the air filter can but was transfereable to the hose. I bought the cap seperate to fit the hose so I didn't have to buy the air filter can. I am gonna call John tomorrow & see how much the air can will cost, if not I will use "cough, cough" a yJ air box for room don't say it, :sneak: .
