Hey does anyone know of some local axle builders and or rebuilders????....ive compiled quite a hunk of cash now...And ive found some guys from ebay and other places not local, that can build me Dana 60s with a 5 on 5 1/2 bolt patterns and all...thats hte route i would truely like to take, i dont want to buy rims again...im normally a do it yourselfer, but ive heard gears require alot of precise settings... and also any idea on prices??...that 5 on 5 1/2 d60, 35 spline, posi trac my choice of gear, the guy said around 1400, with disc breaks...brand new axle, price sounded good to me, buth es in detroit, so thats an east 2-300 shipping extra...

try Steve Gerstner at Differential Engineering in Winter Haven, Fl. He will build whatever combo D60 you could imagine, prices are competitive,,heck even better than most! :jump: . Link is www.differentialeng.com
Steve is a great guy and a pleasure to do bussiness with. Not too far, Winter Haven is near Lakeland. Call him and tell him that Rob from Highway Tire rec him. He'll def take care of you. I bought my front Rockwell from him, great price and excellent service.
PS....he specializes in Dana axles, he also builds a killer 9"

Try Ruben4x4 for gears and brakes. He is local and might be able to put that setup together. If you have the housing even better.
Are you going full width or do you plan to cut it down?

Check out Currie Enterprises. They build em to your specs w/ te large 9" axle bearings.
