Use the stock exhaust, it breathes better.

yeah... the manifolds on the 304 also run on the 360, and if im correct, all the way up to the 401... so the manifolds are capable of flowing a 401 cubic inch engine :obsessed: i have heard of some people saying they lost performance putting on headers!

i know theres 2 or 3 AMC v8's at the UPULLIT on 441 right now. one is in a pre-75 CJ, the V8 looks about as un-stock as you can possibly get in that tiny rig, so it was probly swapped into it. ive been debating when i should mention this..... but it also has a dana 44 rear, depending on your CJ, its a bolt in D44. But im too far along on my ford axle to look back

There is also a wagoneer there, AMC v8... and sporting a front D44, driver side drop for all you YJ/TJ guys. but ya know, my CJ is passenger side drop

So there should be a couple of manifolds you can check out there.... the older CJ's manifolds have probably discarded all their emissions equipment already, whether its modified or too old... or whatever

and thats all the info im gonna share! :innocent:
