Hey Jim could you please post some pics of el ninos exo cage. I have not rolled yet but a lot of us here up in maryland really dig it. I am thinking of doing something similar. And I think a lot of wheelers could benifit from it.

Thanks Stanley

Stanley,

No problem, all I need is to find the time to take more detailed shots. I'll post on here and give you a URL directory of where you can go to see the different angles.

Keep in mind that even though all TJs might look the same they are not. The exo was totally custom make by a racing car shop that specializes in racing cages. Since the body tweaks, the cage that you make for yourself might not fit on your buddy's TJ if you make a duplicate. I can try and give you measurement but it really would not work. The best thing would be to look at the pics and work from there.

Btw, this idea was not mine. Two friends that I wheel with from two different parts of the country have sort of the same. I took this concept and made mods to my own preferences as I'm sure you will also. Please give me some time to take and put some pics up.

Stanley,

Sorry it took so long. Below you will see the first 3 pics.

There are a total of 9 located here: Exo Cage

Start off by making the brackets, then bend your tubes according to the angles & length required. I used cromoly and the total exo weighs 30 lbs.

Let me know how it works out, & if you have any more questions. Post some pics when you are done. :tongue1:
