Hi all... Thank you for allowing me to join the group! I own a 1981 CJ8, live in Boynton Beach and am an avid outdoorsman...

I do need some help and direction though and I am hoping I can find that here... My CJ has been in resto for a number of years, I am a small business man and had to rely on a local mechanic who I started giving work too when I bought this 8 back in 1990... So he knows it well and until now hasn't really shafted me but, that's how I feel today.

So, I was driving up the turnpike and just before the Ft. Pierce service plaza there is a Jeep place on a side street there. No real signage other than a JEEP logo, I am wondering if any of you know who and how to contact this company? And / Or... Who in our area would be willing to take a project that is 70% complete and finish it? It's killing me to have spent so much money and not have my truck in MY GARAGE instead of his?

You are probably talking about the area of Port St. Lucie, or just before that Palm City maybe?
Been 8yrs since I have been there.
There was a guy named Rob and try looking up Treasure Coast Jeep Club (or something like that, they are in that specific area.
The Jeep is really easy to work on, go to my gallery and check out my CJ8 frame up build/putting it together.
TCJClub would help in this area since they are local and please tell them (unless they left/old members) I said hello.

Great, thanks for the details... I have actually been working on that thing since I bought it, love it and I can't seem to get past it...! I just don't have much time to work on it that's my problem, time and space? thank you for the details! DC
