Wile we where up in Citrus play I broke my front left axle u joint.

If you have a 2007 - 2010 and you break your front axle U joint you are screwed. Jeep discontinued them. The part number was 5004891 now you have to get a complete Axle Assembly.

I broke mine the other day and caught it before it did any major damage and I was happy. A simple change of a $30.00 U joint. NOT!
Now to find out I have to buy the whole Upgraded Axle Assembly.

:stirpot: Forget the axle upgrade... sell it and BUILD a YJ... costs less, weighs less and can fix it with Duct tape and a paper clip... JK (Just Kidding) :stirpot: :rof:

If old shafts are still good maybe a quality aftermarket upgrade on the u-joint would be better than a dealer product... take that weak link out of the equation.

My linkUmmm, I don't know if I am reading this incorrectly or not, have you tried NAPA?

They might show it but they do not have it. I went thought this up in Citrus. They even tried Bennit too. None of the U Joints fit correctly.
