The FREE is the admission.

It's a nice ride, you can stop at some places like Royal Palm and take a 1/2 mile walk
and see birds, turtles, and lots of alligators.

You can camp, fish, picnic, take pictures, bring a boat, go canoeing, and there are
daily scheduled Ranger orientation walks. There are tour boats and a store
for eats and drinks at Flamingo. Sometimes, there is a restaurant that is open.
And, there is a small museum area that you can learn about the
flora and fauna.

On Saturday and Sunday, at 2:00 PM, you can tour the closed Nike Missle base.

And, right before you go into the park, there is building that has bathrooms,
a book and souveneir store, and displays of the animals and plants and
terrain in the Everglades.

Sorry, there is NO off-roading.

And, besides Everglades National Park, there is Shark Valley (part of the ENP),
where you can do a 15-16 mile bike ride, or take the tram. There is a raised
outlook area.

It's a nice place to visit.
