Well we/Alyssa just bought a 1965 CJ5 Navy Jeep. PO put new springs on and shackles but it is a clean Jeep and we are going to fix her up as a DDriver.

4 Cyl, 4:27 Gears, new head job/valve job done and the window opens out. I think it was used on the flight line side of the Navy.

Now we just have to tow it home and go through it.

Damn good find!

I think you need ot change your name to "Mr. Jeep"

Looking at all the pics it actually does not look too bad, yes it needs work but since you know the CJs like the back of your hand should not be a problem at all. :ya:

It's a shame they old owner did not keep the Navy gray color.

Original color was Yellow-It was a flight line Jeep for the Navy. Yellow was on the flight line side of the service.

We can pressure wash it off in most places :)

I can now start my own Jeep club :banghead: :rof:
