97 XJ for sale

97 XJ 4 door, carb'd, cammed 350/700R4 trans, NP 231 t-case. "NEW" 33" BFG Mud Terrains. Trust me, they're practically new. D30/C8.25 with stock 3.55 gears. I took it to Turkey Bay recently and it went wherever I told it to. It does have typical carb issues on hills. It has a 3" RC lift.

The good: Interior is pretty darn good considering the age. Tires are excellent. Runs very good. Body is pretty good too. Floors are not rusted, it isn't beat to hell. Really only has a couple minor dents/dings. Transmission is freshly rebuilt with a 12 month 12000 mile warranty

The bad: needs rear brakes. Leaks from various locations, but not bad and having the trans rebuilt fixed half the leaks. Windshield is cracked. Body is 3 different colors. Custom dash isn't finished yet.

If I keep it, the things I would put high on the list are rear brakes, and a fuel injection system . Other than that this is a very solid and reliable XJ. I drive it everywhere and every day. I'll admit my asking price may be a little high, but overall this is a bad muther. Asking price is $4000. Located in NW Tennessee. Text me if interested 731three3five33nine7

Selling because I am doing a good bit of driving with my job and the price of gas combined with 12 MPG is killing me.

looks great but not in the budget now unless u want to traid for a 99 dodge durango
but gass mileg isnt much better and thats stock

Bump for new stuff. New electric fuel pump, spark plugs, wires, distributor cap/rotor, all new rear brakes, intake gasket. That's a pile of $$ just put into this thing. Somebody wants a rust free V-8 powered XJ.

Interesting. Give me some details, pics, etc. also, how in the world would we make the swap? I don't have any plans to come to florida pretty much ever.
