I have a 1993 YJ 2.5L. I was moving the jeep and the engine quit and could not get it started again. I have checked fuel, spark, and air and all seem to be fine. Any suggestions?

Does the engine spin over?
If so, it has to be one of the above items.
What color is each plug?
Will it start if you put a little bit of fuel in the intake?
Is there compression?

The engine turns over. It fires when I put fuel or starting fluid in the carb but wont keep running. Did not check compression but will do so. Checked the spark plugs and they look fine. Not sure what you meant about what color? but they are the standard champion spark plugs for that motor

I take it it's a TBI... if it runs for a moment when gas poured down throttle body it could be a fuel problem between tank and TBI... make sure you have clean fuel at a good pressure, if not check in-line filter or fuel pump for a problem.

You have a fuel delivery problem. As stated, check fuel filters, then the fuel pump.
As for the color, I was referring to the spark end of the plug where it ignites the fuel/air mixture.
