I am the VP of the Citrus County Jeep Club and would personally like to invite all of you to our 3rd annual Jeep Jam event. We have previously held this event as a Show n Shine in the parking lot of Crystal Jeep in Crystal River. This year we are making it more interactive. We have moved the event to Horse Hole Creek Mud Bog in Inglis, FL. and will have 3 courses from moderate to extreme and a huge mud pit to play in for those of you who like to get dirty. We have plenty of room so bring as many Jeepers as you can find. Thanks in advance and we look forward to seeing you all there.

I will post more detailed info on this event as we have it available.

VP CCJ

We had our first workday yesterday. The club had a great turnout. I want to especially thank the members from the Ocala Jeep club for assisting us in how we need to set his event up. We are using their experience for Jeeptoberfest to guide us into making this a successful event.

Here are a few early pics of the courses as they start to take shape.

Do you have an online form in where we can register and pay for the event rather than sending by mail

Thanks. :ya:

Making slow and steady progress but should be ready in plenty of time. I hope this peaks your interest. The courses should be great and you will have lots of things to do no matter how your Jeep is built. Register now at www.citrusjeepers.com/jeepjam and help us make this a success.

Will this remain in Horse Hole Creek or is this setup just for your event?

Got a little more done this weekend. Big changes for those who like a little mud. There is a nice sized mud area (optional) on the moderate course to go across and a variety of depth level as well. More work will be going in over the next 3 weeks to finish it off. I hope to see all of you there. Here are a few more pics.

We have also added a large section to the stock course so it should be great.

A few more surprises may be added as we get closer to the event.

We are possibly opening up for some onsite primitive camping Saturday night.

In order to make this work we would need about 60 people prepaid at $15/person (kids 12 and under free) to cover the associated costs. If you are seriously interested reply to this topic and let me know. I would need to have payments in hand by March 7th. If we do not get enough money to cover costs you will be notified and your money refunded.

It is now official, Xtreme Jeep has made it possible to have camping over night after the event. They have fronted the money to pay for security to be there allowing us to do this. We need as many people as possible to camp to help them recoup as much of the cost as possible. The fee to camp will be $15/person with kids 12 and under free. You must be packed up and out by 10am Sunday morning. Payment can be sent in with your preregistration or mailed to (please make sure you include your information and specify that this is for camping):

Phil Rose
Jeep Jam Registration
3808 N Grapefern Way
Beverly Hills, FL 34465

Payment should be postmarked by 3/10.

You will be able to go back on the courses after the event is over until dark. When you are finished wheeling you are free to crack open a cold one and relax the night away.

I want to personally thank all that were involved in making this possible.

Another day working to prepare for Jeep Jam, made some more progress on stock and moderate courses. The stock course is really starting to take shape and the second moderate course is getting the "pucker factor" going.

Special thanks to the Ocala Jeep club today for helping us drive some stakes and testing some of the courses. They were out in great numbers and we really didn't have a lot for them to do but they were great.

Almost there, adding some finishing touches and finalizing the advanced moderate course. The anticipation is getting intense.

The stock course is 1.2 miles long and is a blast, fun for stock and built Jeeps alike.

Here are a few more last minute pictures, so if you want to see more you are going to have to see it in person.

Ok I just couldn't resist. For those of you who are on the fence, here is a little motivation to get you over...

Stock course - 1.2 miles of fun and thrills

Moderate course - good for 33's

Advanced moderate - Best for 35's and at least one locker (front or rear). Options for Mud, rocks and a tank trap! (I took one for the team yesterday and brake a rear yoke testing it)

Extreme- One bad rock pile for a well built Jeep

If all goes well we are adding a great photo shot at the end of the moderate courses (think car crush)

Just a few more pics of the advance moderate course....
