How big a tire will you go when you're done with this project. 410s may not be enough. Also find out what gears you have now as you might need to change the carrier too.
88 YJ "OLYMPIC" EDITION - 4.2, BA10, TrueTrac LSDs Front and Rear, Posilock, 4.10 gears, 4"RC Lift, 3"spacers, 2"shackles, GM HEI Dist, Motorcraft 2100 carb, SYE and Tom Woods CV drive shaft...

Once you go SQUARE you'll...take that dare!...like you don't care!...and make them stare!...Cause you got a pair!...of Squares :)

what do you mean it does not reach the gear. is the shifter hitting the metal and you can't put it into 5th? or you don't have the power to run in 5th gear? if your jeep has a body lift you need to cut the floor a little so you can get to 5th it may also stop you from getting into 4low.

6 cyl...35" tires and 4:10s and I can even accelerate in 5th gear. If you're not going beyond 33s, you'll be fine. Be on the lookout for a set of axles out of a 4 cyl YJ. They came stock w/ 4.10s and it's much easier to swap out a complete axle than to regear...

Sorry for the late reply but the 4cyl Jeep Cherokees come in regularly and there are a couple D44 axles in a couple Comanche's. Its the U Pull and pay on Benoist Farms Rd you can get the address from their website.
