Has anybody experienced this before? I have a 95 GC with a 4L and it won’t stop squealing the belt. I’ve swapped 2 new ones, replaced the idlers, alternator, and compressor and cleaned everything more than once still it chirps on. Sounds like its down in the front but everything is clean and tight. Any Ideas?

If it's not a serpentine I would narrow it down to an individual belt by leaving the others OFF until you find it. If your sure it's a certain belt and it is new and tight, sometimes when the bearings start to 'GO' in the item the the belt is driving the belt will 'squeal' because the bearing is not spinning as easily as it should...don't forget the water pump, it has a bearing too.

Thanks Big Red One and XrayDivr for your suggestions. It sounded like it was low on the front but who would have thought it was the Harmonic damper. And for anyone interested you don't have to take the radiator or condensor out to pull the dang thing. Just be careful. I might pull the tranny and transfer case next. Leaky seals,,, Chirp out!
