I am working on a project that will have jeep racing of a sort during the MonsterJam event at the Florida sports Park, in Naples in April of 2012.

There will be a meeting around the end of August/ beginning september to discuss ideas for the show.
For those of you who are not local but would still like to be included, I will keep up on here with the information as it becomes available.
I will need 10-15 Jeeps guaranteed to attend.

We could have a jeep show and shine that weekend. Information tents for your club. We could have a jeep rock crawling/log crawling exhibition. The main event could be similar to quad wars, with lots of mud slinging and drama.
Participants should consider some of the following things-
We will have to adhere to some safety requirements. I'm guessing helmets, and possibly seat harnesses, fire extinguishers etc.
This is a show. You are going to have to run the snot out of your jeep, sling mud as high as you can, Take off the mufflers and make them loud, Lots of obnoxious stickers, and bright paint, (Remember its a family event)and finally not get hurt while laughing your A** off the whole way. No jumping or rock racing.
OK you get the idea.
Im going to contact other local clubs as well for participants. Post up some ideas here if you wish.

im in!!!I guess i dont have to do anything to my jeep... its loud, it has harnesses and roll cage, i run the snot out of it, it definatly gets people attention( because they cant believe its still running)....

sounds like an awesome idea/event. please keep us posted

Its Official. The contracts are signed!
Monster Jam Monster Trucks at the Florida Sports Park April 13, 14, 15.
I wll be attending the Caloosa Business Meeting to answer questions Feb 11th 2012
As soon as I talk to the officials there will be paticipant meeting.
