I need to check the tire psi and do a chalk test on the tires. I can feel a very little lose in power, I will say 75mph is fast enough.

Looks good with the new tires. Stop by when you have time so you can show it off.

Thanks for the skid Goblin. My only concern now is the trany & oil pan.
On a side note. Before I left 4 Wheel Parts I asked Mike if I could look through their parts bin ( the stock parts they take off ) > He said there's nothing good in there. Well I walked away with all 8 controle arms, TC skid and a cross member. Not bad for nothing good.

I took this and used it for a hard top hoist.
I mounted it to the joist.
Harbor Freight, It worked out great.
Went to U-Pull it found a cargo van and for $10 my vice and mappp gas and few other things I came up with this
It's ok for now but I think I'm going to rework it.
Found a place for the CB I had. It's kinda close to my head but so is the speaker. I'll see how this works out

When you get time please post a pic of how you are hooking up to the hard top. Your ideas can sure help others and I'm curious to see how you are doing it, I did see the hooks at the end of the bar on your picture.

If you look at the hook and the angle it's in, it was doing that in the rear. And it was putting stress on the glass.
So I got some 3/8'' all thread from Lows. Some mapp gas, my vice & hammer I made a J-hook
Some washer a nylon nut to adjust it level when I picked it up.
I would not leave it hanging, just lower it to the floor
There are plans you can you can get off the net to make a hard top dolly.I think I'll do that. Maybe make one for the door too.

Will that's about it . I need to get going, I have alot to do today. There's a sale today at the Pembroke Pines mall today that I don't want to miss & then I need to go grocery shoping, and then take Tommy & his friend to the movies.
BOYNTON BEACH here :-)
You may want to look at the web site I made about my 2009 JKU Rubi build-up. I did the tires with wheel spacers first also, but got lucky and bought new 17x9 rimms with the proper back space.

Pics look sweet.
Let me ask since I'm a newbie on hardtops...
Why would you not want to leave it hanging up and out of the way to use up the room
Is it because over time you feel that it might warp
