Since I've moved out of town and have been working on updating my resume, it just dawned on me that this forum is a perfect opportunity for some of us to make some good connections on the LinkedIn website.
For those of you who are not familiar with it, LinkedIn is a professional social networking site for business. It is typically free of the more personal stuff that you find on Facebook or even here on JeepTalk. It is an excellent place to expand your professional contacts and locate resources for work or find a job.
I actually wrote a blog yesterday that resulted from a conversation I had regarding professional profiles on LinkedIn and resumes. I think there is some valuable info that I was given and decided to add to it some additional tips for others in my post.
Anyone who knows me and would like to connect to my network can find me on LinkedIn.
Post below if you are looking to expand your own network so others can find you too.
