Pretty good video for those of you that Flat Tow, not sure how it applies to the new JKs, maybe some of you that have done this can comment.

If I'm not mistaken the user manual also gives instructions.





This video does not speak much about the proper way to set up a tow bar though. Just remember that it should be parallel to the road.

looks good, but i would stress everyone to double check their owners manual, cuz i had heard the older commandtrac transfercases cant be towed in this way. i recently pulled my xj 1500 miles and to make it smoother i took 10 min. to pull both drive shafts, just to be safe. no problems at all. i also disconnected the battery and made up a long pigtail to connect my trucks trailer plug to the jeeps trailer plug and powered the jeeps lights that way.

oh yeah and overinflating the tires really helped the jeep to track along behind.
