Broward General ER Trauma.
They haven't admitted him to stay yet. They should have last night but the doc on duty was a prick and sent him home because there wasn't "life threatening" injuries to justify it. The nurse and I both disagreed with his decision.

Ok, thanks Bill.

As soon as Nichole lets me know anymore updates I'll post again. I guess it will depend on test results and what doc is on duty tonight.

He's home and sleeping on stronger pain meds than before. The blood going into his stomach from the injuries in his face is still making him sick. His neighbor I hear is taking him to the check-up appointment tomorrow. I'll check in/call on him tomorrow as I can around work.

Ok so what a night.. Yes the above post is true and Steve now also has a nausea medicine. The doctor has him on a soft diet due to his teeth && right side of face but I got him some jello that he was finally able to swallow && hold down before going to bed. We will find out after 8am tomorrow what time he will be at the clinic for his follow up and I am sure we will all be updated then..

I heard his son Angel will be back home tomorrow as well to assist in anything needed :2thumup: ..

P.S. After seeing the jeep.. For sure my next upgrade will be a full roll cage ((as being my daily driver))!!

Not yet. I called and left him a message this morning. I don't know what time he was going back for his appointment that he was to schedule today. I asked him to call me as soon as he could so I could update everyone and see how he was doing.

Sergio is going over after work this evening. I'll probably go stop by too to see if there is something I can do.

Like Sergio said, he's doing better with the nausea now since he has medicine for it. Still very sore but I think he is getting some rest now. I was there for a little while tonight. Steve says that Lee will take him to the clinic tomorrow and I believe Sergio will be there again tomorrow night.

Angel also is in town now and was able to see him tonight for a while.

Thanks for everyone's prayers and all who have pitched in to help out. From my own vantage point of not having family in town nor a partner in my life to help care for me if anything should happen to me, I know that Steve is thankful to have so many great friends looking out for him and helping out where they can in the middle of our own busy schedules.

Update from Lee:

He's being taken back to the ER for the surgery. It seems they told him at the clinic he is in the wrong district? Not sure how all that works. His surgeon is nice and told him to go back to the ER and he'd admit him there.

Lee has to leave Steve there now to go in to work or do something else he had scheduled. I will stop by on my way out of work to see how everything is progressing and what needs to be done next. If anyone is in the area with time off before 4:30pm, perhaps check on him at Broward General so he's not alone.

Thanks for the update Steph. Dave and Gus are working on setting up an account for donations for anyone who can help Steve out during this very difficult time. We'll post the info once it is ready.

Any updates on the Donation account? Might be easier for everyone if you open a donation account on Paypal. It'll allow folks to use a CC or Debit Card and you can add a Donate button to the thread. It'll also help track things for tax man.

As far as the acct, it looks like we're going to create a paypal acct for him. As soon as I can get all his info I will set it up and post the acct name and info.

Steve should be fine now that he has real nurses to take care of him tonight. He knows to call me if he does need anything. Hopefully he'll just sleep, as I know he needs it.
