My son and I won't be able to make it. Girlfriend decided Dec. 11 was a good day to have a Christmas Party that I was tricked into committing to. My Jeep usually wins those conflicts of interest and my being divorced and single is ample proof of that sentiment. I'm trying to change that 'permanently single' into 'semi' so the Christmas Party I must attend although if she doesn't learn how to fasten a five point harness soon the single life will be all mine again. Everyone have a fun, safe trip with minimal vehicle destruction.

Sorry you aren't going to make it man. Wish you were going to be there. Maybe go to River Rock with us in the spring.

Kieth and Burger Boy are going down Tuesday to make sure we have a large area. We seem to be clear of any generators that would keep Miles from a good nights rest, so I am bringing an old John Deere generator with straight pipes. you know wht they say, "Nothing Runs like a Deere" :2thumup: :ya:

completely understanding the inference, i'm happy to bring my 10kw gen set. If we run it in Cecil Webb, it can likely be heard back in Miami. I have no use for it on this trip, but am happy to make the sacrifice for Miles...because i'm considerate like that! :2thumup:

Too late to change numbers now! I'll just have to eat his share!LOL. Jim B. If you can't run with the RedNecks just stay on the porch! :banghead1: It looks like it is going to be perfect weather. 50's at night and low 70's during the day. Clear skies. Scrambler is running, just trying to get a radio in it, so Jim B. can hear the Banjo's loud and clear! :sos: looking forward to seeing everyone.

had to replace head and intake gaskets on the Scrambler. Should comlete this weekend. She needs some time in the woods. All I have done so far is work on it. Too many bugs!

Don't forget to bring your rain gear. We want to see how far the new Scrammy can throw mud with 42" sneakers. I hear you have tweeked the tunning on your 350. Should be a good show. Parker could drive the CJ7. A little healthy father & son competition. Good idea, right?

See you Saturday AM.

To all my good friends, Rednecks especially. Miles was over at the beginning of the week and saw what I'm up against with work and commitments that have surfaced since last Monday. Needles to say I've put off canceling my hotel room to see how I can just drop everything and go. I just don't see this happening. I noticed it's been a bit crazy with some of the other people as well. I hate to say that I will not be able to make this run. Please have fun and take some serious pics so I can be jealous.

Miles, if Pigpen bring the tickets over I'll call you, if not I think I might have a roll of my own that the War Dept uses for her own raffles during holidays. At worst you can stop by Office Depot.

Get well soon amigo!

PS. Will there be some wheeling tomorrow?

If so, I'm down for a little after-lunch activity.
