As some of you may or may no know, i have been flat towing my YJ with my 99 Laredo. been working out just fine, but its only a 6 and i wanted a little more power.. so i got this.. 2003 Dodge Ram Quad Cab 4.7

oh and the Laredo is for sale too :2thumbdown:

im really liking it. pulled the YJ perfectly to Corbett this past weekend. much bigger than the Laredo.. need to get used to parking it.

that is very true, i remember when i had mine (good times) i would go hauling a** on the left lane and everybody would get out of the way... priceless!!

Nice truck Brian...just a heads-up...about 10 or so years ago Dodge had an issue with their tranny's heating up when towing (I was told this when I had my 96). With you towing, you may want to install an extra tranny cooler just for extra insurance. I never had a tranny problem with my 96 and my dually was a huge cooler on it.

Thanks for the tip on the tranny issue. Just joined dodgetalk and will look into this for sure. Wonder how much one would be. A trans temp gauge might be a good investment before the cooler to see if it is an issue.
