Yeow,

Do you mean that you will take out the inner outer axle shafts, ring gear with carrier completely out? Do you have lock out hubs?

If you do this, you should not have any problems as long as you don't engage 4 wheel drive driving to the shop, otherwise your pinion will be spinning if your front drive shaft is connected. I would put the cover on just to protect the journals, don't have to tighten down the screws that much either.

aye, the point of a full floating concept... since it sounds like you dont have the D44 under you yet, when you do put it on, just dont connect the front driveshaft back up... and disconnect the front DS from the transfer case also, perfect time for a new U. alot of dudes who dont see 4wd alot like to disconnect their front driveshaft for economy, and transfer case wear and tear issues. you shouldnt have a problem driving there with an empty axle.

nope its not under my TJ yet...
The front HP 44 housing is completed empty...I will install just spindles, Warn hubs, brake sys/rotor.
I will have 4x4 shop to install gear, ARB locker, axleshafts on themself.

yeah i will not put front driveshaft on when to drive.

Thanks!
