JeepTalk is currently undergoing a large server maintenance in the background for the next 25 days.

We will leave it up as much as we can. You might see broken sponsor images, etc.
At times you will experience a shut down on and off until all is updated.

The interface will remain the same from what members are used to. These are mostly server major updates that need to be done.

Update:

From tonight through the weekend JeepTalk's back end Server will be undergoing major improvements. Yes all is working great but these upgrades must be done in order for the house of JeepTalk to remain stellar for a long time to come.

Outages should not take long so keep checking back.

We have now finished with a huge back end upgrade. All remains the same with the current interface of JeepTalk.

Interface it is still powerful but we might be looking into an upgrade a few months down the road.

Thank you for your patience while JeepTalk was closed due to this upgrade. We though it would take longer but it was not the case.

I take it that you were not too happy about the short few hours of outage. Had to be done.
Just think, it gave you free time to do some work.

We are fortunate to have a stellar fast VPS to run JeepTalk, one of the reasons we have not been down (only maintenance) for years.

Let's give credit to our Admin who makes sure of this.

I received and email from JT user Brian that he is unable to get in to JT since the maintenace.

He is getting the WorldOverSea VPS Hosting default page when he tries to access http://jeeptalk.net
He also gets the Not Found message when he goes directly to http://jeeptalk.net/index.php

When that happens, close all browser windows, clear cache, history and cookies, power completely down computer or phone. Reboot, see what you got.

If that does not work do the same but this time power down router or modem. Let it power back up first, turn on computer.

Takes a good 24/48 hours but you should have it by now. ISP service might be keeping cache.

I guess he will have to wait 24 hours or hurry up and get home I'm going to have to reboot the iPhone, still getting the old page or default for the hosting.

Yeah I did the same thing and it fixed the iPhone.
