OK, cable in, Switch in, PC finally has internet in the office.

Not I want to put my D-Link 615 in the office so I can have WiFi when needed around the building.

Can I just hook it up in the office and run the PC off that? OR will it conflict w/the wireless router in the house.

I do have some signal at the office sometimes but it is not enough for internet connection unless it is JT or CJO.

Is your D-Link 615 a router?
If it is a router then you can't unless you turn off the router and make it as an access-point only.
I have my Belking setup that way.

You can use the second router at the other end, but you will need to subnet it. Your first router is 192.168.1.1 on the LAN side, then make the second router 192.168.2.1 for the LAN side. Only issue with this is you will not be able to share printers or files folders with the computers on different subnets,

Can I do this?

IF so, then how do I do it--meaning, do I plug in the router (D-Link) at the office and configure or ..

I have to look at the D-Link manual to see.
So you have a hard-wire Cat5 cable from the house to the office right?
Then you have a Network Switch at the office where you have the PC Plugged it?

If not explain the setup you currently have.

Hard wire from House router to Garage (Pics on page 3 or 4 I think) switch,

Garage switch to Office PC,

Wired to PC from garage.

I was told to put the switch in the garage to boost the signal to the length of the cable to the office and it is working fine.

You can add an access-point to the office connected to the wire from the garage.
I will need to look at the D-Link's manual to see if it can be set as an access-point only.

I don't fully understand step 5.

I entered 192.168.0.2

Now the subnet is 255.255.255.0 / I changed the last number to a 1, then a 2 etc but it would not take it, so I put it back to .o

I set the WiFi password and saved etc but I can't get WiFi on my iPhone after iPhone reboot.

The IP needs to be the same as you network IP because your main router ar the house is the one handing out the IP addresses via DHCP
The Subnet needs to stay 255.255.255.0

Ya disabled UnPn and the IP thing. Made the router 192.168.0.2 instead of .1
