1/2 cab qwik fix.

the meyers cab i got recently had some nasty rust damage on the lower portion of the rear panel.
since i am not a welder/fabricator i took the easy way out.
i used a cutting wheel to trim off the jagged edge
and then pop riveted a sheet of heavy gauge flashing over the whole mess.
it didnt get painted because i was doing this in the rain.

I think it looks fine. Did you prime the bare metal with an etching primer before you covered it with the new metal? Maybe applied a coat of paint or bedliner as well?

hit it with primer and sealed the edges with silicone
