Ok, I haven't done anything, THIS TIME :)

I signed up for G-mail cause I needed a e-mail for someone.

I updated WINDOWS but NOT to WINDOWS 8 thinking there was a problem so I UPGRADED to WINDOWS 8 & it did not change anything.

=========================================================

The reason I did this is because I usually right click and update mt SUPER ANTI-SPYWARE & SUPER AD-BLOCKER. SUPER AD_BLOCKER will update but when I right click on S-Anti spyware and ADVANCED UNINSTALLER the circle just spins and says after a while that WINDOWS is NOT responding. NOW, this was B-4 and after WINDOWS 8 was installed. I can update my Malware and Advanced uninstaller the regular way (click) but in VISTA some times U have to run it as an ADMINISTRATOR and I can not run as an administrator. I can't even just click on Super anti-spyware to run it.

=========================================================

Any thoughts?

Signed, Advanced computer testing station.

OH, I JUST tried to right click to highlight this post so I could post it on another PC forum and I can highlight but when I RIGHT click I CAN'T COPY.....maybe that has something to do w/it....the button.

BUT I can right click on some things in the TOOL BAR,,,,hum.... AND I right clicked and copied the HTTP address to send out a link....Hummmmm.

It seems that the right click on the administrator on the TOOL BAR is disabled for only some features.

OK, I just tried to PASTE a link to LrdJefferson & JeepNWilly & it would not PASTE in the PM body. I even did the search for the members names & when I went to INSERT the names I could click but nothing happened. I did do the compatibility mode.

VISTA STINKS.

OK, The computer just wanted to install VISTA service pack 2 (343megs) & I installed it but still can't right click & paste w/some things. As I was typing ths I tried to right click to copy and it would not let me. IT highlighted the words but that was it.

Did I say I loved VISTA :)

P.S. Do U think using G-mail had something to do w/it and IF SO can or is there a way to delete it. BUT seeing I can't restore (see first post) then hummmmmmmmmmmm.

hmm Rollbar your post is kinda hard to read and follow. Are you talking
So you issue is right click menu that lets you select copy or paste?about Internet Explorer 8 because you were saying Windows 8 and Windows 8 is not even out yet. Microsoft I just releasing Windows 7    :banghead:
Are you able to highlight text? If so then try this.

Highlight the text you want to copy and then hold the "Ctrl" key and press "C" without releasing "Ctrl". Once you do this let go and go to the PM screen or any other place you want to paste the stuff you just copied and again hold "Ctrl" and this time press "V" while still holding "Ctrl" that should paste the stuff you copied.

Ctrl + C = copy
Ctrl + V = paste

another way is
Ctrl + Insert = copy
Shift + Insert = paste

Try this and let me know.

Not sure.

Cool glad it worked.
I use free avenger for antivirus and another malware removal tool. I need to get the name of it for you. I only use the malware remover when I have issues with malware/spyware.

This program is along (same company) w/ the Super Ad-Blocker and I was reading a post on www.bleepingcomputer.com and they recomended it along w/MalwareBytes-Anti-malware.

Using Norton Anti-Virus

The reason I updated to IE8 (hate it) was I thought I down loaded a new windows update that was conflicting w/the Spyware/SAB etc. I thought w/the upgrade to IE8 that it would fix it's self, NADDA.

If you go to the add and remove programs (not sure on vista) you can uninstall IE8 and it goes back to IE7.

Not sure what your doing but I only run my norton antivirus with SAB. I also went to google and downloaded for free through them spyware doctor and run that every week or so and then exit the program. Don't fall for spyware doctor and buy their version, the only difference is that they do it live and I don't like it.

SAB with IE8 does not let you open a new tab, that is unless they updated SAB.

It's hard to tell what your problem is because of all the things you have done to it, that plus vista.

Which Norton antivirus are you running on vista, the one I gave you  If it's that one I don't think it runs on vista only XP.

The Norton is for VISTA only & I had to buy one a long time ago just for VISTA.

If I delete the Super Anti-Spy Ware then everything works, or it did @ least time I deleted it.

Got teh link for GOOGLE?

Also I was on the super Anti-Spyware or SAB forum and they said they just updated it or about to. If I find the link I'll post it.

Willy, seems when I uninstall the Super Anti-Spyware things work fine.

I got it to work last night and there was 66 tracing cookies or something when there are usually 1.

I did run my MalWareBytes-anti-malware full scan but it turned up nothing as did Norton.

What Spyware are U using?

I guess I will uninstall the SuperAnti-spyware, BUT, there must be something on my PC OR just something attacking the Super Anti-spyware like their web sight says in the link I provided in my previous post.

=============================================================================

?
If I do uninstall the Super AntiSpyware and I came up with 66 tracking items...............would not having it on my PC do more harm?

Sorry for all the questions but if you guys want me to continue to be the ginny pig on this stuff U have to put up with me  :rof:

I use MalWareBytes-anti-malware only when I have a problem.
AVG runs automatic on my Laptop.

I have personally seen MalWareBytes-anti-malware clean a PC when it has been badly infected by spyware.

I told you this from day one of IE8. Uninstall IE8 and all will work with SAB. If you choose to continue with IE8 than uninstall SAB.

I understand. The only reason I updated cause I thought a MS update messed things up and I needed to update IE so programs would function properly.

In reality, I think the only way to fix it is to toss the laptop in a bucket of water while it's still running, who invented these things anyway

I'm gonna uninstall IE8 cause I went to add a Emotion Icon and I left clicked and it wouldn't work. I can only add things I high light VIA the Control C or v.

OK, NEW PROBLEM. Well maybe not.

I have a select group of forums that open under IE7 on one page/bar and another that open on a sepetate bar.

Now I have checked SABlocker and the original ones that are secure are still listed without additions, BUT.............when I go to open a new window on JT or CCJ OR one of the forums on my secure bar, windows opens it on the NON secure bar.

When I booted up the new IE7 it asked for security clearane/acceptance and I clicked OK for both IE7 window bars...

So I guess it thinks all me sites are secure.

SO HOW DO I go about fixing this.

Signed,
MS programmer undercover for VISTA

Understand, but Mr. Rollbar wants to continue to use a program that it is not compatible and causes problems with IE8.
He can only have one sweetheart, not both or the two will clash, or wait till one updates herself and can except him having two in the same household.

I'm out with Vista since I don't runt it Mr. Rollbar, you need to go to Mr. Willy with that question.
