This winch is factory spooled with synthetic rope and comes with a std wired and wireless remotes. Lots of winches out there claim to be waterproof, but this one actually has an IP67 certification to back up the claim. Look at the pricing of a waterproof winch rated with the same line pull then add synthetic rope and a wireless remote and you'll see this is an excellent deal. You can buy this direct from the manufacturer for $699.99 plus shipping PT#264100PPW I am offering this for $550 shipped anywhere in the coolest 48.

In perspective, the Warn 9.5 XP ($1484.99) has the fasted line speed rating at 38ft per min. The RECON is rated at 28ft (pretty fast)per min but can pull 1K LBS more. WARN claims "extreme duty water resistance", RECON is IP67 certified waterproof. The RECON also has a more powerful motor hence the greater line pull rating.

Anyone who knows me knows I'm not out to rip anyone off. If you don't know me, I sure you know someone who'll vouch.

Holla back.

Congratulations to everyone who got in on this, you've made a better deal than you know. When I went to place the orders today, I found that the manufacturer decided to increase the retail price $300 which also significantly increased my price. I am working through this with them now so I don't totally lose my butt on the deal.

Those who ordered will get the price they were promised and your orders will go out tomorrow.

The new price on the winches going forward is $600 shipped which is still a great deal for the offering and $399 cheaper than if you bought factory direct.

The company has been around a while but the winches are a new offering. There was a lot of R&D involved in putting the package together, the company is based in Boca Raton but all the winch inventory is currently in CA. I am sure you'll get some real-world feedback from Safari once he gets it installed.
