well more bad apples have appeared on dash cam this time at the HPD . accused of lying to cover up an accident . fabricating a made up story caught on a dash cam and sending an innocent girl to jail for nothing just to protect a fellow officer .
in a stupid minor incident that would of maybe caused the offending officer a letter of repremand or something like retaking driving classes but NO he had to go and be stupid making a career ending dicision .
shocking thing to our family is , the officer at the center of this investigation was once a close partner of Fallen officer Alex Del-rio killed in an auto accident earlier this year . and myself and my wife knew this officer well and would of never of suspected this type of behavior from him .he was once 1 of the resourse officers at my daughters school along with Alex , and every 1 is shocked .
these guys are trusted sworn officers , trusted to carry Guns , have the power to arrest and detain at will , and now they are framing citizens to cover up their own Bad behavior ?
comon guys if your gonna do it ....atleast have enough sence not to do it in front of the dash cam .....Comon . the careers of these 4 are shurly over and striped of their trust as the investigations continue , to find out how deep their lies go .
Lesson learned here is :
just goes to prove how a stupid split second decision can change your life for ever . my family hopes for the best for these guys but they really messed up this time , as hard as it is to say because we knew them
they deserve what they get in the end for being proven and caught liars . what a shame ...comon guys what were ya thinking ? to throw your careers away over something as stupid as a minor fender bender
( STUPID ) .!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Well what they did was a stupid thing by lying about what happened at the accident and I'm in way sticking up for them. But the other driver was not "an innocent girl" as you state. She was Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and that's why she went to jail. I tell my guys/gals I supervise all the time that we are only human and we WILL screw up eventially. Most are really minor things and the best thing to do is just man (or girl) up and take your punishment. In most cases they will just get a conseling or reprimand. Where they can go really wrong is when they try and lie about what happened and that's effects their career. Honesty and Integrity are all we as Law Enforcement Officers have. Once we lose that we are useless and end up losing our careers.

i totally agree to err is human and yep Cops are humans to ....what i ment was when i said she was innocent she was innocent of the accident charges.
its just sad and shocking that officers our family knew personally that we talked with , joked with , and laughed with daily during the school year would do such a thing its a shame to make such a career ending life changing split-second decision over something that could of been solved by just takin your beating by internal affairs like a man and being done with it .

Hate to read about this--Also hate that it happened!
I would like to see and read more of the heroic things officers and other public servants are doing on a daily basis.
Just stepping out their door as an officer and risking their lives, on and off duty every day of their lives, is an unbelievable sacrifice so that the rest of us can live in freedom and safety.
Salute to the overwhelming majority of honest and professional civil servants!!!
