center console for CJ5?

looking for some sort of storage compartment for my CJ5. i was thinking about building something but not sure what to use. an idea i have is a compartment that will have a dual opening. the upper half will be for smokes, wallet, etc.. the bottom will be able to store drinks in. then i think that i can only store about a 6 pack or a few more.. a case would be nice. then i thought about just having a regular center console for the wallet and such and move the drink container to the rear.. under the seat i need to buy. maybe have a 6 inch tall cooler of some sort to lay drinks in and still have room for ice. on top of that i could make some sort of tool box for the trail assortments. then on top of that have the rear seat bolted to it..

what do you guys think? anyone have any ideas of how i could do this? here is what i have to work with..

first off all it has to be water resistant obviusly, geee i cant think of what kind of material to use on this one....
why dont you buy one!? j/k

well, if i was to use aluminum there is the chance of it bending from the seat and whoever sits on it. metal would be ok i guess, heavy though. i could always get a thick rubber gasket to run around the whole thing.

but the question still stands.. what to use. how to make the seat work as a flip to open type thing, etc. i will break out the pen and paper and see what i come up with.

not a bad idea at all. thanks for that. although these might not fit under the seat once i get it. then what am i supposed to do for the from center console? this is too big to fit in between my seats. again, thanks for the idea but i dont think it will work for what i am looking to do.. maybe it is, not sure yet.
