I will use this topic to list yearly schedules as they come up along with Calendar entries for the benifit of all of those that have Military Jeeps as well as those that wish just attend.
1. Monday, May 25th, Memorial Day.
There will be a parade down Davie Road at 10am, with a memorial service at 11am in the rodeo arena. Davie, Florida.
2. Saturday, June 13th will be a local Touch-a-Truck from 9am to noon at the Sports Complex on the southwest corner of Stirling Road and Palm Avenue (100th Avenue).
Cooper City, Florida.
3. Saturday, July 4th, 2008 is Independence Day.
Two related events scheduled that day:
Annual Plantation, FL parade (down Broward Blvd.) and the Davie, FL display.
The parade steps off at 9am, This is a long (distance wise) parade and well-attended!
4. After the Plantation parade on July 4th, there will be a display of Military vehicles in the Town of Davie, FL at the Pine Island Community Center (just north of Orange Drive at 3800 SW 92nd Avenue) for the balance of the day. There will be plenty of activities, and hope that the local reenactors participate as well.
