My question. How many of you have done the IE8 update, how do you like it and are you having any problems
If you use another browser please explain why and have you compared to the new IE8.
Also found a Browser Review Link, not sure if they compared to IE8.

It looks the same when I installed on my test box. I shut down all the extra stuff it wanted to do. I noticed that there is a square up on top, if you look at a site that does not look correct created to the old browsers, you click on this box and it fixes the site to be compatible.

I notice that my gallery aligns correctly in IE but some people have reported when they use Firefox the don't center on the orange bars that well. Can you please check this and let me know. I'm thinking up updating my Gallery to the newer version.

It isn't a web site that would need upgrading. For years Microsoft has used the ol' embrace, extend and extinguish philosophy.( http://en.wikipedia...._and_extinguish ) They embraced web technologies , extended them and then extinguished any competitors and other OS's from rendering the non-compliant web sites. Since Firefox and other browsers are becoming more popular, Microsoft appears to be tryng to cover their butt by actually creating a "standards compliant web browser. I.E. IE8 I think this browser has a w3c ( http://www.w3.org/ )standard compliant mode or something like that. Well this breaks some sites that are "NOT" w3c compliant which appears to be what you are experiencing. When in doubt, use Firefox or some other compliant browser which will always be supported by web programmers who actually give a crap about what they are doing.

Did you click on the compatibility square icon on top to see if it fixed the page
I looked a bit and I'm trying to streamline as it added another top line. Willy keep us in touch, I really have not tried it much since it's my test box.
