everyone ended up okay, only wet. The jeeps didn't have that much luck. Steve's jeep will probably come back to life after a water pump replacement; Lu's jeep is dead, well atleast the engine and most of the electronics

Lu's not CRAZY--the gators are for tangling with him.
Earlier we saw the BIG Bull Gator, the one that has been killing his Cows, naturally we had to try to catch him and evict him to Billy Swamp Safari.
The Bull gator was not crazy--he hid from us.
Lu drove down the canal with those gator catching poles trying to spook him out.
The gator won at Hide and Seek that time.
Actually the hole was much deeper toward the middle, the pix that Sergio took of Lu was once my jeep finally died.
We must have pulled every bit of logs and mud behind Lu's jeep.
The gators got p-o-ed and really did want to get Lu--they were more docile while I was out there--actually they seemed curious as to what I was doing out there.
Besides the water pump giving out, and the fan clutch getting bad again, now my windshield wipers won't shut off.
I'll know more tomorrow.

Gators can make gator holes which may become ponds of up to 20' or more...also watch out, mating is April to early June...they are aggressive. Nesting starts mid-June, females are even more aggressive at that time. Watch out people.
Cool pix, I agree...let's vote on in JOM.
I figure it would be cheaper to invest in a measuring stick, or better yet a portable waterproof depth sounder/finder
