So after going to river rock and blowing a bead i decided it was time to get some bead locks. I did not want to spend to much being that i will moct likly not be able to use these rims forever being that i will be upgrading my axles ad will change my lug pattern. After a couple hours of research i found the billistic simple bead locks for the 15 inch rim. they are only $37 a rim for the inner and outer ring.
first i had to gring the lip of the rim so that the ring would have good surface to weld to then set the ring in and make sure it is centered

next go around the ring and do some tach welds to hold the ring in place and to help from warping the rim.

next weld around the rim.

next step would be painting the rims so that the inners will not rust.

then paint the outers

next mount the inner bead of the tire on the rim.

then take the take the outter ring and center it on the tire. i put a 5 gal drum under the rim to hold the bead and make it easier to center the ring.

after theat take the bolts and evenly put them in

i put all the bolts at 15lbs the spec is between 10 and 20 lbs.

i have about 12 hours into the whole upgrade. i will post up pics of when i get them on the jeep tomarrow i still have to get them balanced.
