Anyone still having problems with JT. I fix it, turn computer off, then back on, JT works for a while, then screws up again. Very disturbing :banned:

Follow the directions in your e-mail. U HAVE to clear your CACHE or $ & temp files, if not it won't work. I cleared everything twice but Admin was still working on it.

P.S. I had to clear everything and re-boot twice. Once just Cache then the other time I did temp files, cache & links. The links seem to work.

Yeah I did the directions a few times. We'll see tomorrow. Thanks for the tips.

It is a Web propagation issue which takes 72 hours, usually sooner. It is not Jeeptalk or the Server. We have changed a few things with regards to IP address and we might also continue to change certain server settings for the next 30 days.

If you do what was instructed in the emails you should not have a problem.

The reason you need a proxy server is basically to hide you IP so that JeepTalk can let you in. This proves that you are able to get to JeepTalk as well as others.

1. You need to clear and follow the instructions on the email sent, remove your proxy.
Below is a more detail step by step

Do this in the exact order, do not make a mistake:

Close all windows and programs
start/run/cmd
Dos window will come up
type: ipconfig/flushdns
return
type: ipconfig/registerdns
return
close window
right click on your desktop IE7 icon
general tab on top
press delete tab or button midway
window pops up
press delete all
close
advance tab on top
scroll down under browsing
remove the check mark "enable 3rd party browser extension"
say ok
close window
power down computer
wait 30 seconds
power up computer
do not do anything until the drive stops working and it is completely rebooted
go to jeeptalk.net

If this does not work than the only thing we can think of is that your IP has been banned on JeepTalk. Let me have your IP that you are trying to access JT with and I'll see if this IP has been previously banned from our board.
