A section on "LAW/Statutes" for us Jeepers would be nice. Getting questions answered by WildBill on windshields and mirrors/doors off etc has been a great help.

If done, I would recommend WildBill to be the moderator.

Wildbill can be designated but he is a Global Mod to begin with anyway.

Not sure about making it a section rather than maybe a pinned topic or sub forum under another section, this is why I held off on my vote.

Ya, I guess I should have voted for the Sub forum section. I think that is a better idea.

I think a pinnedtopic would be best.

I agree with having a pinned topic and with help from the other LEO's (Law Enforcement Officers) it can be a great asset to JT. And, thanks for the nominantion :2thumup:

Where would you suggest the pinned topic to go. If it's a pinned topic all postings are in one topic. If it's a sub forum it can have different topic discussions relating to a Law issue which can be discussed and keep in content. If one topic all postings are mixed.

So... will it be a pinned topic or sub forum of a section.... and where or what section.  :jail:

After you clarified it Jim, as Rollbar said, a sub-form under chit-chat.

No. JeepTalk is not a publicly owned forum. Moderators are chosen and recommended by other Moderators and Administrators.

With regards to the Law forum in question, I have been contacted by a few Moderators and it looks like it will come. A few edges still need to be drawn.

No doubt that the above would be excellent contributors of information. :first:

From all the feedback, it looks like it would be a sub forum. No need to designate a Moderator unless Admin or the other Moderators have a different view. We have many Global Mods that can take care of any issues including Wildbill that can keep a close eye. The rest of the community including the above people that Dave listed can be a great asset. I'm sure we have some Lawyers around here to.

That is my feedback on all of this. I was thinking of a sub forum name of "House of Law".

Once explained I see that a sub-forum is the only way to keep track of different topics. I guess that's why JimB is the boss  I think that it would be more beneficial if there were several mods for the section. One can't know everything and it's always good to get a second opinon as well.

"Law Talk" sub forum under "Chit Chat" forum has been created.

Moderators, please move all topics to this section that apply. Thank you.
