In the process of placing high-speed, oil-filled bearing housings back together, if an anti seize compound is used for the bolts, be extra careful not to apply too much. If an excessive amount is applied, it can enter the housing faces during torquing and make its way into the oil bath. This, in turn, can bring about early bearing failure due to the incompatibility of the oil and anti seize compound mixing and subsequently making its way into the load zone.
Ian Stewart

If you don't fight for the trails, there won't be any trails to fight for.

What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.
Zig Ziglar

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling that thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." ....

Anti-seize is a mix of zinc or copper particles and an emulsifier. When it contacts moving parts, it generally turns into an abrasive. Also the zinc or copper will bond with the grease or oil and make a nasty paste... when I put certain parts on my helicopters, I have to be really careful where the anti-seize gets into..
