Ok, how bout this, a JT calendar from the winners of the JOTM. October to October so everyone can order for the holiday's. Cost about 10-12 bucks @ most places + shipping. :)

Hopefully it will be full of ROUND headlights :)

P.S. I get 10% for taking the pictures  :rof: :) I got the idea from some where else, good idea though.

I like the idea. :bat: We are in the mist of also finalizing the JT logo so we can have the teeshirts, etc that have been requested.

So, we need a (I'm in) list of who would buy one & who can head this thing up to get/fined a vendor to do it. In this po-dunk town I'm in there isn't much & well, some of these people never seen a computer :rof:

I know we have 12 votes (@ this time), but we need to narrow it down.

Maybe we could ask the vendors/sponsors to pitch in :bat: :rof:

I'm in as well. Im not sure if Cafe Press has calendars but Vistaprint.com does. You can upload all images, tweek the layout a bit and even have a logo on each page. Im sure we could find other places on the web that offer the same.

I believe Snapfish is another online service that will do calendars. I think I've seen some photobooks that friends have made through them and they turned out very nice.

p.s. - I have an entry for the month of Dec. :rof: and it includes two sets of round headlights.
SMILES - former SFJC member - no modifications.
Lulu - Black & Tan German Shepherd - can read: Fun with Lulu, RIP May 25, 2021
Blue - '01 TJ Wrangler Sport - 2.5" lift on 33's sold when I moved to Italy

Frieda - Our first "Jeep" in Italy was a '98 Honda Civic, but Lulu didn't know it was really a car.
Rosie - '11 Jeep Compass Limited

Need to see them first. :rof:

Ok, now for the question, what type of Calendar.
Desk Calendar
Wall Calendar

Forgot, if it's a large wall calendar we are going to need a high resolution of the actual picture of all the Monthly JOM winners.

A desk calendar would probably work best. There would be no image quality issues (although Bill's pics would definitely look very nice on the wall calendar version :rof: ) and perhaps it would be easier for most to just put it on a desk than to find a spot on a wall.

sample wall calendar.

Wall, unless U have some square headlights in there, then desk so I can color all over the grill & modify it to look like something :rof:

Once we get this going then maybe a new post for the two different types.

Fellows, the final JT logo is done... we thank GoblinJK for this. I did see that Vista Print was the easiest to use for the Calendar. They also have quality service and good prices, I have used them in the past and my wife used them recently.

Once you guys decide on a desk or wall calendar we can add all the Jeep of the Months which are a total of 11 and on the last page we can have all the Jeeps of the year along with using the JT Logo on the head page or whatever.

I'm afraid I will have too much on my plate to handle this. If any of you want to handle this let me know. It would have to be designed, pictures collected, ect. When they come there would also be a small shipping cost through the post office.

It would help out JeepTalk if we can maybe make a $1 or so on the cost of the calendar. I'm sure some of you would not mind.

Jim,
I can help out with this. They have various templates so it would just be a matter of choosing a template and uploading the images. I can place each winners name on their image for each month. I would need each winner to send me their image in the highest possible resolution. Also I can design something for the cover and for the 12th spot we can do pictures of different wheelin events and gatherings etc. Once its decide whether wall or desk then I can move forward with checking quantities and prices.

Rich,

Thank you for taking this on. From now on you handle it and ask all the questions. I would also like to use the last page to put in all the Jeeps of the Year even though they might be in smaller fashion as this is nostalgia. I like your idea on wheeling and obstacle pics also.

You can post here to keep all informed. Later I can set up an online form with paypal payment so no one gets stuck with a box full of calendars. If you don't get the high rez pics you might need to go with a desk only.

If we need to tweak the sat and contrast on the logo, pics, etc I can do that if you want. Thanks.

Here is the link to the vote for desk top or wall calendar;

Choose Desktop or Wall Calendar

Also, maybe a small write up on what happened w/the rig in the pic etc.
