Started with a '70 GTO had fun then converted...
to a 78 Blazer had fun then converted...
to a string of family cars... that wasn't so much fun... then converted...
to a Porsche 911 had fun then converted...
to a '89 Bronco lifted with 33's and stayed 4X4 after that.
97 TJ lifted with 33's
01 F250 Super Duty Diesel lifted with 35's
I've had my eye on the 4 door JK's since I first saw them and pulled the trigger last year. I promised the MRS that I would at least make a good faith effort to wear out the stock rubber before putting real tires on it. Stayed away from the forums 'cause I knew they would make me break my promise.
Summer project will be a 4" Rancho sport lift and 35's. I'm going to break out the welder and fab front and rear semi-stubby bumpers something like the XRC's but a little different. A snorkel, Superchips FlashPak, and home built CAT back will also be going on... DANG FORUMS
The new jeep is an '09 JK 4 door with the freedom top, S package, e locker in the back and swaybar disco. It's a good start and I look forward to turning it into something fun

My name is Kelly and I'm a Yankee.
I am the founder of a program named JeepSkool. We have been busy making a difference in the Jeeping world, and can be seen in the 2009 Petersen's Ultimate Adventure coverage. We hope to make a few FLA friends and keep spreading the word about SAFE-LEGAL-FUN for FAMILY type Jeep events. Kinda like Festivus for the Rest of us.
We have recently lost our co-founder and a great trail leader to your awesome FLA weather and they are looking to find other like minded Jeepers. We hope that this will be the group to welcome them with open arms and help them find a few LEGAL wheeling ares. If you think you may be able to help, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time,
-Kelly

Started with a 77 CJ-7 shortly after moving to Colorado. At present it is basicly the same except for a new frame, fiberglass body, seats, Slightly modified 360 AMC enngine, rims, tires, 3" lift, dash, bumpers, and the last change electric radiator fans out of a 98 Mercury Mystique. The fans fit great and I have thank a post on this site for leading me to them.
Since the addition of the new top, forgot that in the list, I have been driving it more and enjoying it. At present my son has his eye on it. I'm thinking he needs his own project.
I am glad to be here and enjoy reading the posts, and learning from the other members.
Thanks
Burks
