If you don't fight for the trails, there won't be any trails to fight for.
What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.
Zig Ziglar
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling that thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." ....

Wife and I are partial to the area, with low property taxes, no state income taxes, lots of green vegatation and hills all around. Have not been muddin' or anything like that, but one day perhaps... Liberty's are just not quite the same as a Renegade. BUT if you could get a Renegade in the US with a diesel...
One day I'd like to build a REAL Jeep, a Willys from the early 1950's.

Go to the Worldwide Jeep Club forums and see if your club is listed there (maybe from another one of your members) on a topic. If not, post a new topic with your club info. If it's a FL club there is also a pinned topic that can be listed there as well. Give as much info on a new topic on your club. Post all your rides and events in the Happening or Let's go wheeling forums and list them on the calendar as well. Many Jeepers from FL and out of State travel and a good chance that they will meet up with you guys/girls. Post your trail ride pics in the Wheeling Aftermath forum. Read the forum content of each forum on the main page.
Don't forget to enter and vote on the Jeep of the Month contest and participate on the other stuff.

Found this forum via the South Florida Jeep Club's website and wanted to say hello. I recently moved down to Miami (about 10 months ago) and wanted to start doing more to my Jeep. I am new to Jeep ownership, have had mine about 2 years now and so far I am loving it. I haven't done much of anything to the Jeep, except replace the rear mounted tire with the actual one that is on the jeep (instead of the smaller version it came with), got warn front and rear bumper as well as side skid plates. Which actually have already been a life saver, we got rear ended shortly after moving here. The lady's front hood was destroyed, she drove up next to us after she slammed into the back of the jeep, gave us the bird and took off. The cops asked if anything was wrong with our jeep and replied no, they sorta laughed. I would like to do some off-roading and meet new people, the only real problem is that this is also my main mode of transportation so I have to be a little careful I guess.

I just wanted to give a big thanks to those people who were involved in pulling myself and CaptainMike from the mudd at 8th street last week. Unfortunately I would have loved to help with the truck who lost the tire off it's wheel but I had to be back for work in the morn down in Key West. Thanks again!

I actually just found this site lastnight. I am very susprised that I have not seen it before.
But at least now I have another forum to checkout each day.
I will update my profile and sig maybe later tonight.
A little bit about me.. I have been wheeling for about 7 or 8 years now, and I am very addicted to it. I used to race Motocross before this, and I thought there was no way that this could ever take its place, but it has, and I hope to be doing this for as long as I can
I am 40 years old, I have a beautiful wife who supports me and my hobbies, and I also have two beautiful little girls that are 7 and 10 yrs old. My wife and girls are my whole world...
Now, here is alittle bit about my jeep and where it started at, and where it is at now.
Ok, first off, its long... But you asked me to introduce myself Here is my jeep. I hope you enjoy it, I have enjoyed this jeep very very much.
I have done alot of work by myself in the garage on this thing, and my wife has been a big help when I needed an extra hand. I have to thank my little girls who have been under this thing, and twisted wrenches with me. ( great memories ) This jeep has brought alot of joy to me, and it has taken me and my family on several outtings where we have bonded together, and grown closer as a family.
I really want to take the time to Thank Devin [b]for all the hard work and hours that he has put into making my rig what it is today.
Well, she started off close to this, but she actually had stock tires and wheels on it. (( and yes, She only has a 4 cylinder in her ))
Then I decided I needed some bigger tires and that would require more lift, so on went a 4" superlift lift kit, and some 32" MudKings..
and of course I needed a winch, and one of those kool highlift jacks and of course some KC lights.. ((( I was hooked )))
Oh yeah, I also installed some lockers in it.. First off, I went with one in the front.. Then decided I needed more traction, so I put one in the back as well.
Well, then I decided I needed to go bigger, so I went and bought some 35" SSR's, and a 2 inch body lift. The bigger tires required me to trim the rear fenders out, and I also installed the TJ flares on the back to make it look right.
And of coures while buying the bigger tires, I also needed better and prettier rims.. (( Amy is getting mad at this point ))
Then, I decided that I needed bigger axles, so I bought Jarods Dana 44's out from under his rig. So now I had the whole garage full with ,mine and Jarods jeeps and I was swapping the axles out, and Amy's car was having to sit outside while I did this. Was not alot of room in my garage, but I got it done.
Then, since I had bigger axles, I had to have bigger tires, and of course BEADLOCKS. So on went some 38" TSL's and the beadlocks.
Also since I went with bigger tires and axles, I was gonna try to run with the big boys at forestburg, so I needed a better cage and a stinger,, so in went a cage and the cool stinger...
I was now cool....
It looked good, and worked real well, it actually worked to well one night, and we flipped over backwards and rolled it one and a half times with me and 3 of my friends in it... It was a awesome ride!!! Was scarey at first because I did not know if the cage was gonna hold up.. But it did thank God !!! We flipped it backover, and drove her back to the camp. It crushed the hood and the fenders, and the grill, and broke a shackle off of the frame. (( Insurance totalled it out.))
So next it was time to spend the insurance money.. So, I bought an
Atlas II 4.3 and I also went ahead and had Wagoneer machine shop custom build me a dana 60 rear and then I had No boundries 4x4 stretch the rear out 4 inches, and I added waggy springs and that took my wheelbase to 102 inches, and now I had to have a HUGE stinger. Plus I comp cut the rear of the jeep to help with the longer wheelbase.
I also bought an automatic trannie, and installed it..
Somewhere in here, I also bought some bigger tires. I bought some 39.5" Iroks.
Then, it was time to upgrade the front Dana 44 to warn shafts and CTM's.
I also at this time decided to have Devin build me some cool fenders, and rear crusher corners, I also bought a new hood and grill to replace the old stuff. Then we stretched out the front about 3 inches and built a cool front bumper and a skid plate and repainted basically the whole jeep. This took the wheelbase to 105"
Ok, so now the pictures...
Here are the front fenders being built.
Now the rear crusher corners.
