1-. If you have a mortgage on your house take a second mortgage
2-. If you don't have you own house get a personal loan
3-. If you have you own business get a credit line
4-. If you have a wife, get a lawyer or get 2 of each of the above options to keep her from filing for divorce.

Once you have 1 or more of the options above, feel free to order a lot of parts from any of our sponsors and let us know what you got so we can help you with the installation.

:shock2:

PS: Don't be affraid of what I said, we've all been down that road already

Hello, my name is Seth and I am a 21 year old transplant from Washington D.C living in Miami. I was part of two Jeep clubs up north and did not realize there were decent trails down here till very recently when I stumbled upon Big Cypress. I currently own an 03 TJ on 31s, my second Jeep (my first was an M-715 on 38s). I look forward to meeting you on the trails. If you have any questions let me know
Seth

Hey!

I'm Michelle Cohn, 19 years old from the Chicago area. I am moving to Miami in the fall with my boyfriend Seth (two posts above).

I actually don't own a jeep, but Seth does, and he takes me for rides when I am in town.

I went offroading on the 8th street trip yesterday...it was my first time! I am sure we will go more when I move down in the fall.

Nice pics from Jeepfest Jose! Looks like you were doing some homework with the detail shots of various Jeep parts. You'll have to document the build-up on your new Jeep and keep us posted.

Hey folks:

Just want to say hello and introduce myself. I'm a new member to the forum and the South Florida Jeep Club .WAY2CYNICAL. I love jeeps! I'm on my 3rd jeep now: just got a 08 JK. Put it up 2.5'' and threw on some 35's. And I've got the wild boar rack up to carry my kayaks. I picked up my Big Cypress permit last weekend on the way over to the 10K Islands for some fishing. I plan on driving over to Bear Island this Sat. to get the jeep a little dirty. Any forum members going to be out there?

Well, I guess it's time to check in. I've been lurking around the site since early February and finally posted for the first time last week after seeing the pics from 8th ST. I have a 2004 Unlimited which has only been off-road a couple of times when I've gone hunting. Unfortunately it is still pretty much stock and a mud/rock virgin; but I'm starting to work on it.

I just ordered a 2" BB, bought a set of 5 ProComp Rock Krawler rims, and 31" tires. I don’t want to go any larger with the tires for now because this is my DD and gas is waaay too expensive. Anyhow, I’ll post pics when it looks “better.”

Ciao for now.

Hello Boards!

Been a long time since I have been a n00b on a Forum

I just purchased a Certified 2007 Wrangler X with 13k on the clock. Got a deal I couldn't turn down. She isn't my first 4wd but she is my first Jeep so taker easy on me.

The dealer installed Pro Comp 15inch rims with Pro Comp 31x10.5 rubber.

It doesn't look bad to me, but it doesn't look right either. So today I brought myself to 4Wheel Parts here in Miami and scheduled a 4 inch lift with all the goodies, same style black rims in 16 inch. Mainly because I don't like how close the rim is to the calipers... it's amazing to me how the wheel weights clear the calipers and I know that it won't take too much mud to cause a problem there.

I am going to sell the 15's with the tires which have 70 miles on them. I have a friend with a YJ who would like to buy them but he is a lil wary of having to use a spacer to get the 5 on 5's to work on his 5 on 4.5 YJ.

I have some other plans after the lift and new shoes as this Jeep was bought just for some weekend fun in the mud, trails, trips to the keys and possibly to get me the hell out of Miami during the next hurricane. This Jeep will never see a mall parking lot. I got a Cadillac for that.

- Snorkle
- Bumpers with winch and gas can carrying on the aft
- Half doors
- Some lights
- mirror relocating kit
- Fenders
- New radio or figure out how to get this UConnect to work

Should be fun.

I converted them to links this time ONLY

Thanks for the welcome!

I am in Doral.

As of now, my friend with a YJ says he wants my wheels and tires, if that falls through I will let you know. Spacers with 5on5 lugs are required for these to fit on anything but a JK.

This is on my to do list also.

You can get the UConnect to work. You need to order Mopar part #82211004AB UConnect Module. The cheapest I have found for is here at WyckoffChryslerParts and u can add part # 82211263 for the Ipod Interface cable and control the Ipod through the radio controls and charge it. the install is very easy then you need to take it to a dealer and have it added with the Starscan. Here is a link to the PDF for installing and setting it up. RichC's Write Up

Thanks, I am going to look into this.

And sorry for the pics being out of size per forum rules. Won't happen again.

I don't know it is appropriate to ask this here, but I went on a ride in one of my customers Unlimited 4 door today that has a 3inch lift and is on 35's. Looks real good but he says he lost so much power he is thinking of putting it back to stock to regain power. I know his weighs considerably more than mine as it is a 4 door, but this kinda scared me a lil because I am doing the 3inch and 35's next week.

How much power am I going to lose on an already under powered (IMO) Wrangler?
