I was told it could be a vacum switch on top of the transfercase. Ill look at both. Thanx

we won't get into it as this is the welcome post, but if the 4wd is actually engaging, then it's not the vacuum.

again...welcome!

Hi all!

I met many of you for the first time at the Jeep Fest after reading the posts on the forum for several months. :alien: I must say it was a hell of an event and had fun riding the course. I wasn't very confident about my mostly stock ride  but you guys gave me a good "stop being such a woos"! of encouragement allowing me to enjoy my first ever off-road experience in my first Jeep.

I must say it is a bit different from what I expected. The first Crunch spooked the hell out of me.

After evading the third leg (rocky part) of the course the first time, I felt like I was missing the fun and had a second go. :drive: I managed to complete the course and am very thankful for the opportunity to test my ride in a controlled and expertly supervised environment. Thanks SFJC!!! :strong2:

I'm looking forward to riding with you all again soon, in a real trail.

hello all! in jupiter and new to site and just (finally) joined SFJC... have an '01 sahara that i drove hard and put away wet.... and the kids outgrew! 135K hard miles!!! and now she's my mistress and am looking at doing major modifications. all y'all's experince and knowledge will be appreciated as i begin the teardown and rebuild!!

i replaced her with an '05 unlimited rubicon that i'm keeping fairly sane as it is my daily driver/worker (put 4" suspension lift, body armour bumpers/swingout & rock rails, warn M6000 winch, highlift and 2KC lights) might seem excessive for a daily driver, but we're offroad and mudding nearly half of everyday for work! kids and i have just started getting into "wheeling" and are looking forward to meeting up with y'all!

by the way, i can't seem to find links/member's area for SFJC (per their homepage). any help?
i started out with nothing... and through years of hard work and perseverance still have most of it left! :~D

Hey All,
Just arrived to your forum. Looking forward to learning a few more things about Jeeps and Jeeping. My husband and I are members of the Ocala Jeep Club of fl since 1998, and have made many good friends there. Jeeps tend to bring people together that way LOL.
My current (and for sale) Jeep is a 98 2-door Cherokee I've had for a couple years. The hubby drives a 89 Wrangler that he built from the frame up, and is run by an LP powered 383 stroker. He is currently building a '83 full size 2-door Chief.
Looking forward to meeting some of you on the trails one day.
Check out my Cherokee in the for sale section LOL.

Hello!

I just joined this site today. I've got an '06 Wrangler Sport that I've had for nearly a year. I've yet to offroad it so looking for some easy trails to break her in. I live in Miami so looking for some close trails though I'd be up for any road trips that work allows. Any Jeepers that are interested in getting together let me know.
