Been lurking a while, signed up finally as I liked what I saw. Current ride is a '79 CJ7, lifted with 35" tires, full roll-cage, 401, etc. Also have '90 chevy fullsize P/U 4X4 with 350 motor and 35" on it.
Not sure how to add a pic so won't do that now.
Currently live North of Detroit area, and work in the Motorcycle field.

Glenn,
Hope you have some fun in here like the rest of us. Nice to have seen your Jeep and met up with you at the SEJF. I see that you are local so I'm sure you will also meet up with some of the other excellent Jeepers that are also from your area. Some of these guys will start to make you spend your money in your new found Jeep sickness.

Dustin,
Have met and wheeled with Jeepers in Canada. Just starting out I see, your young enough to at least go through 5 build ups at different times. I started late so I'm on my third one so I'm pretty well done.
When you get a chance post up a pic of your Jeep. The wheeling section has a thread dedicated to this, does not have to be a wheeling pic. Show us your country side.

Bigugly,
back to the fun. You might want to contact Admin or one of the Moderators if you wish to change your screen name to reflect your new Jeep or something else, or just live with the old.

Welcome to JeepTalk, good to have you. We have a Land section on here that you might also want to visit. The person you are looking for is on here as Jeepincj78, his name is Frank and he is the president of the South Florida Jeep Club (used to be Plantation) if this is who you are looking for. You can PM or email him from JeepTalk.
To clarify a few things, JeepTalk is not a club forum, Jeepers from all over the nation and world hang out over here. It just so happens that the SFJC is very active here along with being a JeepTalk sponsor.

I'm staying in Boca Raton and working in Riviera just north of West Palm Beach. My employer was looking for volunteers for a work assignment, which brings me here for ~5 months. I live in San Diego, CA, but it looks like I'll be here for a handfull of months till my assignment is finished.
I have a '91 SOA YJ, with the usual bells & whistles. I've had it for going on 11 years and keep dumping $$$ into it for some strange reason.
Here's a couple pics of my junk:

I looked in the Happenings section to see if I could find a thread about this since you brought it to my attention, but didn't notice a thread about it.
Do you know what time it will begin?
Thanks!!
BTW: Any chance Jim B will be their? I traded PM's with him on another board earlier today and tried to call him on an old phone number I have for him - but got an answering machine. I'm not sure if the number I have for him is still good.
Perhaps I should PM him here! He's who pointed this BB out to me.

Joe,
to JeepTalk! Hope you have fun here.
Good to see you around these parts. Excellent pictures, you should enter the Jeep of the month contest with some of these no matter what State you happen to be in.
Got your message, look forward to meeting up with you. Check the calendar here, Happening, Let's go Wheeling etc. The phone number you have is good. I usually try and make the informal Tower Shop. Look forward to meeting up with you.

Rollbar, dim dar pebbles be the last waterfall on Bad Medicine, near Florence Junction in AZ. A handfull of the trails in FJ rival Johnson Valley/Hammers. Fun stuff - but expect LOTS of body damage and LOTS of trail carnage.
Pg 2 of the link below has some cool pics of that run.
We did:
Lower Woodpecker
Upper Woodpecker
Upper Ajax
Bad Medicine
Highway To Hell (the fun meter was pegged)
